Energy Awareness Month- 2 San Francisco Event's you need to know

Two events will be held in San Francisco this week to celebrate Energy Awareness Month. PG&E launched a first-of-its-kind campaign to give away one million free compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) at over 400 community events during the month of October.

At PG&E’s Energy Awareness Day event on Tuesday, October 16, you can receive a free CFL if you sign the Change a Light pledge to replace a conventional light bulb in your home with a more efficient CFL. The PG&E mobile education center will also be available to tour at Justin Herman Plaza, which is adjacent to the Embarcadero 4 building and across the street from the Ferry Building. The event will be held rain or shine:
