What’s the Green news this week in Pleasanton that surrounds Real Estate? No Green Real Estate listings to note but Pleasanton Oak Grove referendum in on the table. Pleasanton City Council tabled the referendum vote pending the Superior Court decision. Pleasanton’s City officials goal was to have the decision place on the June ballot but felt they would not have enough time to present the arguments by the time of the ballot deadline.
The issue surrounds the plans to build 51 luxury homes in the Pleasanton Hills. The agreement also donates 496 acres of open space to the City of Pleasanton. Being a long time Pleasanton resident it will be interesting to hear the argument from both sides. I can understand both sides’ position but am drawn to the 496 acres of open space for Pleasanton Parks. For more resources and information visit the links below.
